Jesus wants you!
Are you passionate about the Gospel? Are you frustrated that your attempts to share it fall flat? Are you scared of rejection or offending someone? There are tons of reasons that can hold a believer back from sharing the good news of Jesus Christ, what He did and how that changed everything for everybody!
The Bible compels us to share this good news.
Speaking to His disciples, Jesus says in Matthew 28:18-20, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
But we must be careful not to do this work alone. We must be working with God’s Spirit. It’s certainly possible to share the Gospel without God’s endorsement.
Matthew 7:21-23 reads, “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’
So there’s a right way and a wrong way to share the Gospel. Believers should want to do it the right way, and that’s what we hope to help you with here.
